The Story
Captured at the tender height of spring, this limited reserve preserve is a memory made edible. Wild honeysuckle meanders through sunlit fields while strawberries ripen to ruby brilliance on the vine. Each jar offers a soft kiss of nostalgia—where familiar berry sweetness meets the delicate perfume of honeysuckle and jasmine. A little bit of countryside magic, tucked beneath a lid.
We use strawberries from Rivercrest Orchard, a beloved local farm just outside Fayetteville, Arkansas. Their sun-ripened berries bring unmatched flavor and a deep sense of place to this seasonal offering.

A Note on Texture
We choose not to use commercial pectin, allowing the fruit to shine in its natural form. Instead, our preserves are thickened gently with organic chia seeds, which also add a boost of fiber and nutrients. As a result, you may notice a more fluid, spoonable texture—perfect for drizzling, swirling, or spreading generously. It’s all part of the small-batch charm.
A Note About Texture
At Arden Grove, we do things a little differently — and a little more naturally. Instead of using conventional liquid pectin, our preserves are thickened gently with chia seeds. This means you may notice a slightly more fluid consistency than store-bought versions — especially with temperature changes.
Why chia? These tiny seeds not only help create a beautiful texture, but they also offer natural fiber and plant-based nutrients — no additives, no refined thickeners, just simple ingredients with purpose. We like to think of it as perfectly imperfect — a small trade-off for a more wholesome spoonful.
If you'd prefer a thicker set, try refrigerating the jar for a few hours before serving.
